Thank you to all of the people that participate in the trail of dreams. it truly is just that. Both of the boys had so much fun. we will be coming back every year that we can. God Bless you all!!!
Caleb went on the Trail of Dreams in May 2008, shortly after we received his diagnosis of DIPG -- cancer in his brainstem. He was very sick from his treatment at the time, but he had such a wonderful time -- he's talked about it all year. And he's looked forward to this year's trail. We didn't dare hope that he'd be able to do it again, given his diagnosis (the prognosis was 10-12 months after diagnosis). But here we are, looking forward to it. What a blessing! Thank you for making another of Caleb's dreams come true. We are so grateful.
Joshua and I had a wonderful time. We can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our weekend. Everything was so SUPER AWESOME. I have never met a community of people that have such big hearts. Everyone was so welcoming and generous from the moment you got there to the moment you left.I don't know who was having a better time the kids or the adults. The first place we stopped at on our way home Joshua had to tell the lady all about the horses he got to ride and his new friends. Thank you SO MUCH, Trail of Dreams You Truly do make DREAMS come True! You are a community of Angels.
The Trail of Dreams is exactly that. I think all of us thought we were in a fairy tale or a dream. The people who planned and took part in this event were beyond wonderful. It was great to see our kids actually being kids- the light and joy on their faces will never be forgotten. We all have memories that will bring us joy for years to come. Thank you, Trail of Dreams. We love you all.
